A Reminder To Take The Work Of GOD Very Seriously  

They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might on the day he comes to be glorified in his holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have believed. This includes you, because you believed our testimony to you. 2 Thessalonians 1:9-10  

I was just recently in NYC taking care of something important. As I was parking briefly and was about to leave the city to go to a speaking engagement, a man asked me if I could possibly park somewhere else. There had just recently been a bus lightly bump into a van. I sensed in my heart to speak to this man about JESUS. I walked over to the man and lady who were involved in the accident. By GOD’s grace, I was able to talk with them and then pray with them to give their lives to JESUS! JESUS gets all of the praise! I may never meet them again here. However, when you begin to think about the reality of eternity in heaven or hell, it motivates you to try and make the most of every opportunity as led by the HOLY SPIRIT!  

How often do you think about eternity? How often does the Truth of eternity impact the decisions you make? Are you focused on natural and temporal things? Or are you focused on GOD’s eternal purpose for your life and the souls of people? It is critical for us take the work of GOD very seriously and to move forward doing exactly what JESUS has instructed us to do! There is a very real heaven and a very real hell and every person will spend eternity in one of those 2 places.  

Action Point

Read 2 Thessalonians, chapter 1. Pray and meditate on the Fact and Truth from the Bible that every person will spend all of eternity in heaven or will live in eternal destruction and torment in hell. Then, think about all of the people around you who need to give their lives to JESUS! Rely on the HOLY SPIRIT and go out and share JESUS with someone today! Rejoice, for GOD can work miracles through your life and can save precious people for eternity!
