Title: Are You Building or Breaking?

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. Ephesians 4:29

Yesterday was so miraculous! As our oldest son and I went out to get some things done, GOD brought just the right people into our lives. We stopped at a store and prayed with two young men to give their lives to JESUS. We went through a drive through and prayed with a precious lady to give her life to JESUS. We picked up some groceries and prayed with another precious lady to give her life to JESUS! Then, prayed with a gentleman in the neighborhood, who has so much potential for JESUS!

When you speak, are you building others up or are you breaking people down? Are you encouraging or criticizing? Are you supporting or gossiping? Are you looking at the heart or the outward appearance? Are you bringing joy or discouragement? Are you bringing peace or pain? The power of life and death is in the power of the tongue!

ACTION POINT

Start your day off with JESUS in prayer. Ask The HOLY SPIRIT to control your tongue and to help you speak only that which comes from HIM! Look for opportunities to speak life and encouragement into the lives of those around you. Speak about JESUS! Speak about what JESUS can do! GOD can bring life, joy, peace, healing, strength, and encouragement through what you speak into the lives of others!
