Confront Before Crisis

Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will. 2 Timothy 2:25-26

In the 1500s, Martin Luther confronted the wicked practices of the Catholic Church of that day. The Catholic Church was charging money to give people forgiveness of sins. This is completely wrong and demonic because only JESUS can forgive sins. This led to what we call the “Protestant Reformation” that people are saved, forgiven and receive eternal life ONLY by grace and through faith in The LORD JESUS CHRIST! In simplicity, someone can only be saved by trusting in JESUS CHRIST! Martin Luther was willing to confront a major issue before it harmed many other people and became an even greater crisis. All praise to JESUS!

Are you confronting situations that GOD has told you to confront? Or are you ignoring them and running away from them?
