Don't Let Opposition Keep You From Moving Forward

However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace. Acts 20:24

Men of GOD like George Whitefield and John Welsey faced intense opposition as they were being used by GOD to share the Good News of JESUS! They were used by GOD to see a great harvest of souls given to JESUS, to see a Great Spiritual Awakening, and to impact generations to come. You don’t hear much about those who opposed them. However, what JESUS did through them is still having impact today. One of my favorite people to read about in Christian History is George Whitefield, who preached about 18-20000 times to around 10 million people and more without amplification and without internet or media. By The HOLY SPIRIT, they kept moving forward! All praise to JESUS!

When you determine to share the Good News of JESUS and to live for souls daily, there will come intense opposition. Sometimes the opposition comes from the outside through people or circumstances. Sometimes the opposition comes from within by attacks of the enemy against our minds such as lies and guilt from past mistakes. However, NEVER let that hold you back. JESUS is with you and HIS plans can never be stopped!
