How Do You See People?  

So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. 2 Corinthians 5:16  

I stopped briefly at the gas station. GOD put very strongly on my heart 2 young men who were leaving the store. I got their attention and was able to talk with them. By GOD’s grace, I was able to pray with them to trust in JESUS! While getting gas, there was another young man who was working. I had a great conversation with him and he gave his life to JESUS CHRIST! When I looked at those men, I didn’t see them from the world’s eyes, I saw them as men who would spend eternity in heaven or hell. GOD has amazing plans for them! All praise to JESUS!  

How do you see the people around you? How do you see that person behind the counter? How do you see that waiter or waitress at the restaurant? How do you see all of your co-workers? As a follower of JESUS CHRIST, it is extremely important that we see people the way GOD sees them. We don’t see them from a worldly vision, we see them by the vision of the HOLY SPIRIT! Every person is an extremely valuable person who is either saved by JESUS or not. Someone who will spend eternity in either heaven or hell.  

Action Point

Take a moment today and ask that GOD would cause you to see every person the way HE sees them. Read 2 Corinthians 5 and understand that JESUS desires to work through you to bring people to HIMSELF! Look beyond the outward appearances and see that many people are desperately hurting on the inside. JESUS can work through you to bring life and encouragement to someone today! Share JESUS with someone and let’s expect what only GOD can do!
