Let’s Go Fishing

4When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch.” 5Simon answered, “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets.” 6When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break. 10bThen Jesus said to Simon, “Don’t be afraid; from now on you will fish for people.” Luke 5:4-6, 10b

As I pulled into the gas station to get gas, I noticed a young man with whom I knew GOD wanted me to pray. It was a critical time in his life. After speaking with him, I prayed with him a prayer to give his life to JESUS. Then, I prayed for him to receive the baptism in the HOLY SPIRIT and Fire. JESUS touched him and delivered him powerfully! Only JESUS can do that!

Did you know that GOD has so much more for your life? Have you started to live the abundant Christian life of always fishing? You will never experience the fullness of what JESUS desires to do in and through your life until you are involved in GOD’s work here upon the earth of souls coming to JESUS! There is a joy that only comes from the HOLY SPIRIT when we are sharing the Good News of JESUS and fishing for people!

Let’s go fishing! Make it a point to share JESUS with at least one person today. Pray for someone today. Encourage someone today! I pray that many people come to JESUS through your life.
