Men And Women Are Called Of GOD!

Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy. Acts 2:18

Something that I have really enjoyed throughout the years is studying the lives of men of GOD and women of GOD that JESUS has used so powerfully throughout the years. I have been greatly encouraged by what GOD did through men such as George Whitefield, Smith Wigglesworth, John G. Lake, Billy Graham, Reinhard Bonnke, Adrian Rogers, David Wilkerson, Oral Roberts, A.A. Allen, R.W. Schambach, Carter Conlon (still active), and Rodney Howard-Browne (still active). I have also been encouraged by what GOD did through women such as Kathryn Kuhlman, Mother Teresa, Fanny Crosby, Amy Carmichael, Corrie ten Boom, Aimee Semple McPherson, and Maria Woodworth-Etter. All praise to JESUS!

GOD has a special calling on the lives of men and women! Men are far superior to women at being men! Women are far superior to men at being women! The HOLY SPIRIT has been poured out upon men and women so that they may all preach and do what GOD has called them to do! Should there be order? Yes, of course. Should husband and wife fulfill their roles as husband and wife? Yes, of course. However, it is important to know that husband and wife should work together in GOD’s work as the husband and wife are following JESUS together and fulfilling their respective roles as laid out in the Bible.

Action Point

Don’t look at the past. Don’t let shame, guilt or regret hold you down. Get away from every distraction. Yield yourself fresh and anew to GOD’s calling upon your life. If your married, love and encourage your spouse. Outside of GOD, if you are not your spouse’s biggest encourager, then something is wrong. Encourage your husband or wife and encourage your children to be who the LORD JESUS CHRIST has called them to be and teach them how to live a life completely dependant upon the HOLY SPIRIT! With JESUS for us – the Best is yet to come!
