Right Relationships Bring Real Rewards

Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers. Psalm 1:1-3

I was just recently speaking at Revival Services at a Church in Kingsport, TN. During this trip, it was a joy and a blessing to be able to meet with a wonderful mentor that GOD brought into my life about 11 years ago. He has been in ministry for over 50 years and has been a very influential Senior Pastor and Evangelist. During the season of my life of being mentored, I began to clearly see what JESUS had called me to be and what JESUS had called me to do! The HOLY SPIRIT truly placed a “fire shut up in my bones” to follow JESUS and to live for the souls of people! Only JESUS can do that!

Who do you spend most your time with? What relationships in your life are helping to make you live more like JESUS? Can you think of one relationship in your life that has been critical in your walk with JESUS? One of the greatest blessings that we have on this side of eternity are the people that GOD brings into our lives! Living with the right relationships that JESUS has brought into your life will lead you to experiencing some of the real rewards that only JESUS can give!

Action Point

Think of a relationship that has been very important in your walk with JESUS. Reach out and encourage that person today! Maybe you do not have a relationship like this in your life. Pray and ask GOD who HE wants you to spend time with! Take some time to evaluate the relationships in your life. It will be amazing as we life with the right relationships that GOD has brought into our lives!
