While studying the lives of men and women who were greatly used of GOD in different generations, I noticed that most of them gained a great victory in one area of their lives right before JESUS used them in such a powerful way. I can think of names like Smith Wigglesworth, Martin Luther, George Whitefield, and many more. When I was about 21, there was a time in my life when fear was trying to hold me back from doing what GOD has called me to do. I had a radical encounter with the HOLY SPIRIT and was set completely free! All praise to JESUS!  

There are certain times in our lives when we have to “shake off every snake”. You must gain victory over whatever is holding you back from doing what GOD has called you to do. Maybe it’s fear, an addiction, a relationship, a habit, false guilt, being over-critical, or something else. JESUS has defeated every enemy and it’s time for you to walk in this same victory!  

Action Point

Enough is enough! Take a stand today against whatever is holding you back. In the NAME of the LORD JESUS CHRIST, take authority over every hinderance and command it to leave! Believe the freedom, speak the freedom, and walk in freedom - in total reliance upon the HOLY SPIRIT! My friend, today is the day to stand up and to walk forward in great victory! Rejoice and encourage someone today!
