The Battle For Your Mind

Can you remember the last time that you were going through an intense battle in your mind? Maybe thoughts that you simply don’t want to think about or don’t understand? Maybe thoughts about the past, present or future? Maybe thoughts wondering what the next step is to take? Maybe thoughts that keep you up at night or thoughts of fear? As a child of GOD, we must always remember to line up our thoughts with the WORD of GOD! If it doesn’t line up with the WORD, take authority over it in JESUS’ Name and command it to leave. Then immerse yourself in GOD’s WORD to see what JESUS says! JESUS has come that you may have life, and have it more abundantly!  

I remember one day while walking down broadway in NYC, I noticed a young man who was making a delivery to a store. I believe he was standing on the sidewalk near the truck he was driving. As I walked past him, GOD put on my heart very strongly to go back and speak with him. I went back and began a conversation with him. He told me how he had been having thoughts of suicide and how he was going through a very difficult time in his life. By GOD’s grace, I was able to talk with him and pray with him to dedicate his life to JESUS! The enemy was trying to steal his life, but JESUS came to give him life and life more abundantly! All praise to JESUS!  

Action Point

Are you having a battle in your mind today? Or do you know someone who is? Take time today to read GOD’s WORD and pray. Ask JESUS to give you wisdom and understanding to see yourself the way GOD sees you! Remember, “CHRIST in you, the hope of glory”. If you have given your life to the LORD JESUS CHRIST, then you are saved, healed, set completely free, and the HOLY SPIRIT lives in you! Look around and see who GOD wants to encourage through you today!
