The Importance Of Meeting Together

When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. Acts 2:1-2

The past couple of years have truly tested many in the body of CHRIST in a major way. It has been a season where people make a stand for the Gospel of JESUS CHRIST and also where people begin to compromise. It seems that those who have kept a clear focus on JESUS and the souls of people are prospering. And then many who have not are shutting their doors to possibly never open again. The Bible says in Hebrews 10:25, “Let us not neglect meeting together, as some have made a habit, but let us encourage one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” We see all throughout Scripture that miracles happen and generations are transformed when GOD’s people meet together to pray and be obedient to what JESUS has called them to do!

As a children of GOD, we should be fully aware that the best place for anyone to go is a place where the HOLY SPIRIT and GOD’s people are present! We should be able to say, bring the sick, bring the blind, bring the hurting, bring the addicted, bring the hospitalized, bring the oppressed, bring the possessed, bring them all – and JESUS will set you free! I don’t know when the Church ever started to believe that the Hospital is better that a HOLY SPIRIT-filled Church! GOD can turn it around!

Action Point

It is time for us to make a stand and to do what our LORD JESUS CHRIST has called us and commanded us to do! Let the body of CHRIST come together with great unity and love and believe that GOD’s WORD is always true! It’s time for a renewal in the Church so that we can have revival in the world! Let’s join together and do what GOD has called us to do! Rededicate your life to JESUS, ask to baptize you with the HOLY SPIRIT and Fire, and then get up and go bring the Good News and healing to the people around you!
