The Only Way To Do GOD’s Work

On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with a water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.” Acts 1:4-5

When I was about 21-22 years old, I desperately wanted GOD to use my life to share the Good News of JESUS! I wanted so much for people to come to JESUS by GOD using my life. However, I was gripped with fear. During a miraculous moment in prayer, I had a radical encounter with JESUS as the HOLY SPIRIT touched my life and set me completely free. Then as time went by I began to understand that I needed the baptism of the HOLY SPIRIT and Fire. During a time of prayer, JESUS baptized me with the HOLY SPIRIT and Fire and I began to speak in a heavenly language. JESUS radically transformed my life and enabled me to do that which HE has called me to do by the HOLY SPIRIT! By GOD’s grace, there is an all-consuming fire that never goes out for JESUS and for the souls of people! JESUS gets all of the praise!

The only way to do GOD’s work is GOD’s way! The only way to do GOD’s work is by the working of the HOLY SPIRIT! As you read the Book of Acts, it seems clear to me that the believers in the Early Church had an experience with GOD that many believers do not have today. However, that can change! It doesn’t matter what denominational background you come from – the only way to do the work of GOD is by the working of the HOLY SPIRIT in and through our lives!

Action Point

Have you received the baptism of the HOLY SPIRIT and Fire? Do you know, without any doubt, that you have been bapized and immersed with the HOLY SPIRIT? Regardless of your background, my strong suggestion to you is to read GOD’s WORD concerning the baptism of the HOLY SPIRIT. Pray and ask GOD to give you understanding. Know that JESUS is the ONE WHO baptizes with the HOLY SPIRIT and Fire and HE takes great delight in you receiving this GIFT from the FATHER! The Bible says in Luke 11:13b, “how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!” It’s time to do what GOD has called you to do! Rely on the HOLY SPIRIT!
