What Are You Talking About?

From the fruit of their lips people enjoy good things, but the unfaithful have an appetite for violence. Proverbs 13:2

I was at the Grocery store, and I noticed a young man getting the carts. GOD about instantly put him on my heart, so I knew that I needed to speak with him. I started talking with him and he was going through one of the most difficult times in his life. He had just recently been in a car accident that thankfully wasn’t much worse. I told him about JESUS and how GOD has amazing plans for his life. Shortly after, I prayed with him a prayer to give his life to JESUS! I was rejoicing and all of heaven rejoices over just one precious person who repents and turns to JESUS! Hallelujah!

What consumes most of your speech? Are you talking about what is happening at work? Are you talking about what you hear from the mainstream news? Are you talking about difficulties in your life or maybe other people? It is so critical for you and me to be speaking the right things and the WORD of GOD! Our speech can point us in the right or wrong direction. When we are speaking the WORD of GOD to ourselves and others by the working of the HOLY SPIRIT, then it sets us up to enjoy seeing others drawn closer to JESUS!

Action Point

Make it an action today to worship JESUS aloud! Speak HIS WORD aloud! Pray and share the Good News of JESUS with someone. Who can you reach out to today and encourage to keep moving forward and doing what GOD has called them to do? Who can you call and tell them that they are doing such a great job? Let’s speak life into others as the HOLY SPIRIT speaks in and through us!
