What Are You Talking About?  

Men of Israel, listen to this message: Jesus of Nazareth was a man certified by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs, which God did among you through Him, as you yourselves know. Acts 2:22  

My son and I stopped at the store and I noticed a lady about to leave who was driving a van. Nearly immediately GOD put on my heart to speak with her. I got her attention and had great conversation with her. She was going through an extremely difficult time in her life and was very thankful for prayer. I prayed with her a prayer to give her life to JESUS and then I prayed for her needs. There’s no one I would rather talk about than JESUS! HE is the only way who can transform someone’s life and save them for eternity!   The Bible makes it very clear that it is very important what we speak and what we talk about. The Bible says in Proverbs 18:21, “Life and death are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”

As a follower of JESUS, it’s important that we are speaking about JESUS and that our speech lines up with the WORD of GOD! We don’t go by our feelings, doctors reports or what the world says. We go by what the WORD says as we are filled and led by the HOLY SPIRIT! We speak life and we share with others the AUTHOR of LIFE (JESUS)!  

Action Point  

Be intentional and aware today of your conversation and what you are talking about. Are you speaking what the Bible says in faith? Or are you speaking something based on your feelings or based on someone else’s opinions? As we rely on the HOLY SPIRIT, let’s speak life into others today every GOD sends us! Let your conversation be filled with JESUS and HIS love for others! Rejoice as it will be miraculous what GOD will do through you!
