What Are You Watching?

Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful, Colossians 4:2

One day as I was walking down broadway in NYC, I noticed a man making deliveries at a store. GOD very strongly put him on my heart. I turned around and started talking with him. He was going through one of the most challenging times in his life and was contemplating suicide. As I talked with him, he was in tears. He prayed to give his life to JESUS and everything changed! All praise to JESUS!

It is important to understand that prayer is not just asking requests from GOD. Prayer is being alert and watchful for GOD’s direction and voice in our lives. Prayer is being focused on being obedient to what the HOLY SPIRIT is speaking.

ACTION POINT

As you are spending time in prayer, make an important decision to not just to ask requests from GOD, but to hear direction from GOD! Everything that we need is in JESUS! Take time to listen to JESUS and rejoice with thanksgiving because HE has already given the victory!
