What To Do When Facing Challenging Times  

When Jesus heard what had happened, he withdrew by boat privately to a solitary place. Hearing of this, the crowds followed him on foot from the towns. When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them and healed their sick. Matthew 14:13-14  

About 7 years ago, GOD put on my heart to not let an entire day go by without sharing JESUS and praying with at least one person. No matter how challenging the season, this is a GOD-given practice that lifts me up and encourages me every single day! There have been so many miracles take place! There have been so many people give their lives to JESUS! Even yesterday, my son and I had the wonderful opportunity to pray with 4 people to trust in JESUS! JESUS gets all of the praise!  

What do you do when life gets very intense? When your facing a challenging time that you have never faced before? When it seems that the battle will never go away? We must remember that JESUS is our greatest example in every area of life! The Bible teaches us that the same works that JESUS did, we will do also and even great works. This is the work of the HOLY SPIRIT in and through our lives!  

Action Point

When facing challenging times, apply these principles in Matthew 14 and you will surely walk through in great victory! 1. Pray (find strength and direction in the intimate presence of GOD) 2. Service (Keep moving forward doing what GOD has called you to do and blessing others 3. Faith (Do exactly what the HOLY SPIRIT leads you to do) 4. Miracles (Expect miracles and what only JESUS can do!)
